Functie

As Ready-to-Wear Designer you will join the team in Amsterdam on a full-time basis. In this role, you will support the design of ready-to-wear across all categories for four seasonal collections per year, as well as capsule drops, in close collaboration with the Design Director and Co-Founder. Reporting to the Design Director, you will work closely with the design team from concept to sample stage, ensuring design intent is carried through in every detail. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Atelier, Product Development and Production teams throughout the development process.

The Responsibilities:

  • Support the Design Director and design team in shaping the seasonal ready-to-wear collections
  • Translate ideas into design proposals through sketching and draping
  • Conduct ongoing research and provide inspiration for silhouettes, details and finishing
  • Assist with seasonal fabric selection
  • Prepare and maintain design files, including technical packs and relevant documentation
  • Review prototypes and samples, ensuring design intent is reflected in execution
  • Participate in fittings across all styles
  • Work closely with Product Development, Production and Merchandising teams to ensure smooth development
  • Support styling preparation for e-commerce shoots in collaboration with the marketing team
  • Ensure all design work aligns with the dna and quality standards of the brand

Functie-eisen

  • Degree in Fashion Design
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience within international luxury ready-to-wear design
  • Strong ability to translate creative ideas into clear design proposals, from concept to execution
  • Excellent sketching skills (hand sketches), with the ability to communicate clearly to the pattern makers
  • Solid understanding of pattern cutting and garment construction
  • Confident in draping and moulage / 3D development on the mannequin
  • Strong sensitivity for fabrics, materials, and quality
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); ability to create and adapt prints is a plus
  • Strong research mindset with a passion for inspiration, references, and silhouette development
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Structured and detail-oriented, with a proactive and hands-on mentality
  • Flexible, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
